Let Cost Price be 'x'
The selling price of an air conditioner is equal to 4/3of it's cost price
Selling Price = 4/3(x)
we know that ..
selling price = cost price + profit
4x/3= x + profit
4x/3 - x = profit
4x-3x/3 = profit
x/3 = profit
Profit Percentage = (profit/cost price) ×100 = ((x/3)/(x) ) ×100 = (1/3)×100=100/3 = 33.33%
