Well the setu bharatam program has the aim that "to make all national highways free of railway crossings" This is to be done by the year 2019
The Setu Bharatam program was launched in the year 2016 by the Prime minister of the India "Narendra Modi" This would have the budget of 
102 billion indian rupees. According to this program the total of 208 ail over and under bridges have to be constructed.

The Setu Bharatam programme of the government of india is a programme for building bridges for safe and seamless travel on National Highways.


The programme was launched on 4 March 2016 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It aims at making all national highways free of railway crossings by 2019. Under the project 208 rail over and under bridges will be constructed at unmanned railway crossings on national highways at a cost of Rs. 208 billion. 1500 dilapidated bridges will be widened or replace in a phase manner at a cost of Rs. 300 billion.
