Sex of baby depends upon father because,

☆ Female carry always X chromosome.

☆ male carries X and Y chromosomes.

☆ If the sperm of X chromosome fuse with ovum the result is XX then the baby is girl.

☆ If the sperm of Y chromosome fuse with ovum then the result is XY then the baby is boy..

the sex of a baby depends only on the father because the father contains two sex hormones X, Y and the mother contains two sex hormones X, X
if the X hormone of father fuses with X hormone of mother then a girl is born
and if the Y hormone of the father fuses with the X hormone of the mother then a boy is born
