Area of the circle overlapped region is 72 cm^{2}.

Given

To find the area of the region overlapped.

"x" be the area of the region overlapped,

                       ( i.e., )   x = ?

Shaded area = 146 cm^{2}

Length of rectangle = 35 cm^{2}

Breadth of rectangle = 20 cm^{2}

Radius ( r ) = 10

Formula :     Area of rectangle = length × breadth

                                            = 35 × 20

                                            = 700

                   Area of 2 circles = Area of rectangle - Area of shaded region

                                                 = 700 - 146

                                                 = 554

                   Area of 2 circles = ( 2 × \pi × r^{2} ) - x

                                554         = ( 2 × 3.14 × 10 × 10 ) - x

                                554         = 628 - x

                              554 - 628 = - x

                                 - 72 = - x

                                    x = 72

    Therefore, the area of the region where the circle overlapped is 72 cm^{2}.
