- they are in direct variation
- so,y/x=k
- 10/6=k
- 15/y=k, where k is equal to constant of variation
- 15/y=10/6
- 10y=15*6
- y=90/10
- y=9
- therefore shadow of 50m pole is equal to 9 metre
