GiVen :

  • Length = 14 cm
  • Breadth = 28 cm

To FinD :

  • Area and the perimeter of the garden with flower beds.

SoluTion :

According to the question it is given that the garden is rectangular in shape with 4 flower beads laid along its breadth as well as length.

We know,

\impliesArea of the Garden :

\impliesLength × Breadth

\implies14 cm × 28 cm

\implies392 cm²

Now,

\implies Perimeter of the Garden :

\implies 2( Length + Breadth )

\implies 2( 14 + 28 )

\implies 2( 42 )

\implies 84 cm

Therefore,

  • Area = 392 cm²
  • Perimeter = 84 cm
