The shape of an airplane is not kept same as the shape of the bus, for the following reasons -

An airplane faces a lot of air resistance during it's journey, as compared to a bus. To overcome this enormous air resistance, the aerodynamic shape is given to the basic structure of the aeroplane where aerodynamic design is not given to any bus due to much less air resistance problems. (The front of the airplane is kept pointed for aerodynamic purpose, whereas buses have flat front.)

The bus is land vehicle whereas the airplane is a air vehicle. Due to the flying necessities, there are huge differences in the construction and structure of the airplane as compared to any land vehicle like a bus.
