KBr is Potassium Bromide. Its a crystalline solid, white in colour and comes in bromide class. Its formula weight is 119.002 units and has a boiling point of 1435°C and melting point of 734°C. Its density is 2750 Kg/m³. It has a prototypical structure of NaCl (rock salt) and has an 'Octahedral' structure.
The percentage of Br is 67.14% and percentage of K is 32.86%.
I am attaching an image of its crystalline structure.
