Solution ::-

• length of parallel sides = 1 and 1.2m

• Height = 0.8 m

Area of trapezium

= $\dfrac{1}{2}$ × ( sum of ll sides ) × height

= $\dfrac{1}{2}$ × ( a + b ) × h

= $\dfrac{1}{2}$ × ( 1 + 1.2 ) × 0.8

= $\dfrac{1}{2}$ × 2.2 × 0.8

= 0.88 ${m}^{2}$
