The share of A is 3/8th of the total share of B and C.The total share of A,B and C is Rs 550,find the share of A.

shyamkrishnakeshari: given that A+B+C=550 and A= 3/8 of (A+B) so 3/8(B+C)+B+C =550 after solve this you can find B+C=400 HENCE the value of A= 550-400=150

A=3/8(b+c)
A+B+C=550
3/8(B+C)+B+C=550
11/8(B+C)=550
B+C=400
A= 3/8*400=150
