Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The tips cover circular paths.

The hour hand covers 4 complete circles in 2 days (48 hours)

Distance = 2 x 22/7 x 4 x 4 = 100.57 cm

The minute hand covers = 48 Circles in 2 days (Each hour = 1 circle)

Distance = 2 x 22/7 x 6 x 48 = 1810.23 cm

Total distance = 100.57 + 1810.23 = 1910.8 cm

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let r be the length of the short hand and R be the length of long hand.

Now, in 48 hrs long hand and short hand will rotate 4 times ( because in 1 rotation=12 hrs. Therefore, 4 rotations= 48 hrs)

Now rotation of the hand= circumference of the circle

Now, sum of distances travelled in 48hrs =

=4{2πr+2πR}

=4*2π{r+R}

=4*2*22/7{6+4}

=176/7 *10

=25.14*10

=254.1cm

Hope this will help you!!!
