long hands of a clock are 6cm = r= 6 cm

Find distance travelled by long hand in 60 hour

distance traveled by the hands =circumference of the circle

circumference of the circle produced by long hand=2πR

=2 × 3.14 × 6

=37.68 cm

long hand completes 60 rotations in 60hours

=60 × 37.68

=2260.8 cm

Hence the distance travelled by long hand in 60 hour is 2260.8 cm
