We know that short hand take 1 hr to complete a round ( circumfrence)
hrs in 2 days = 48hrs .
so short hand clock complete 48 round in 2 days..
distance of 1 round = circumfrence of circle
= 2pie(r)
= 2× pie × 8
= 16pie cm
distance of 48 round = 48 × 16pie cm
= 768pie cm
now distance of long hand clock ( minute hand clock)
minute in 2 days = 2880 minutes
2×pie ×r
2×pie ×16
32pie of one round
distance of 2880 round = 2880 × 32pie
= 92160pie cm
Total distance of both hand clock
= (768pie + 92160pie)cm
= 92928pie cm
= 92928 × 22/7
= 292059.4 cm
