shorter side = 4.8cm
longer side = 4.8+2.4= 7.2cm
perimeter = 2×(7.2+4.8)
=2×12
=24cm

In a parallelogram Opposite sides are
Parallel and equal.

Length of the shorter side = x = 4.8cm

Length of the longer side = x + x / 2

= 4.8 + ( 4.8/2 )
= 4.8 + 2.4
= 7.2 cm

Perimeter of the parallelogram

= 2 ( length of longer side + length of
shorter side)

= 2 ( 7.2 + 4.8 )
= 2 × 12
= 24 cm

Perimeter of the parallelogram is
equal 24cm.
