Answer:

Perimeter of triangular garden is 130 m

Shortest side is 20 m

Longest side is 3× Shortest side

= 3 × 20

= 60 m

Now Let the third side is x m

As we know the formula

Perimeter = Sum of all the three sides

130=20+60+x

130=80+x

x=130-80

x=50m

Therefore Third Side of the rectanglular garden is 50 m

Given :

⬤ Shortest/First Side of Triangular Garden is 20 m .

⬤ Perimeter of Triangular Garden is 130 m .

⬤ Longest/Second Side is 3 times it's Shortest Side .

To Find :

⬤ Third Side of the Triangular Garden .

Solution :

  • First/Shortest Side = 20 cm .

As given that , Longest Side is 3 times of Shortest Side . Hence ,

Second/Longest Side = 3 × Shortest

= 3 × 20

= 60

Therefore , The Longest Side is 60 m .

Now :

Let :

  • Third Side of Triangular Garden be x .

\bf{20+60+x=130}

80 + x = 130

x = 130 - 80

x = 50

Therefore , The Third Side of Triangular Garden is 50 m .

Check :

20 + 60 + x = 130

20 + 60 + 50 = 130

130 = 130

Hence Checked
