The SI on certain sum of money for 23 month at the rate of 7% per annum exceeds the SI on the same sum at 7% per annum for 19 month by Rs. 672 . then find the sum ?​

Let the principal be P

And in question rate of interest is same 7%

Time in ist case is 1-11/12=23/12

In 2nd case time is 1-7/12=19/12

And the difference given is 672

So P*7*23/1200……1st case si

P*7*19/1200……………….2nd case si

(P*7*23/1200)-(P*7*19/1200)=672

7P(23/1200-19/1200)=672

7P(4/1200)=672

7P(1/300)=672

7P/300=672

P/300=96

P=300*96=28800

SO principal is 28800 in both case ans
