The SI unit of velocity is m/s, by looking at this we can simply tell that it means how much an object displace in 1 sec but suppose i write a physical quantity which is the product of 2 physical quantities, for instance i write SI unit of work that is Fs ,so what does it mean?

W = F.S
It means 1 Joule of work is done when force
of 1 Newton displaces an object through a
distance of 1 meter
Since it is dot prdouct so work is SCALAR
quantity
