The side of a cube 6cm. If it is doubled , how many times will be the volume of the new cube , as compared with the original cube?

A1) of the cube is =6(2a)2=6(4a2)=24a2 sq. unit. So the new surface area of the cube is four times the old surface area. So, the new volume of the cube is eight times the old volume.
