literal \: surface \: area \: of \: cube = 4 {a}^{2}  \\ l.s.a. \: of \: the \: given \: cube \:  = 4 \times  {4}^{2}  \\  = 4 \times 16 \\  = 64  \: {cm}^{2}

total \: surface \: area \: of \: cube = 6 {a}^{2}  \\ t.s.a. \: of \: the \: given \: cube \:  = 6 \times  {4}^{2}  \\  = 6 \times 16 \\  = 96 \:  {cm}^{2}

Answer:

side of cube is 4cm

lateral surface area 4side ^2

4*(4cm^2)

=4*16cm^2

=64cm^2

TSA=6s^2

=6*(4cm *4cm)

=6*16cm^2

=96cm^2
