Given :

Length (L) of Rectangle = 12m

Breadth (B) of Rectangle = 5m

To find :

Length of the diagonals

Solution :

In the question Length and breadth of the rectangle are given. Then, By using the phytgeores Theorem we can find the diagonals of the rectangle.

Diagonal = √(L)² + (B)²

Where,

  • Length (L) = 12cm

  • Breadth (B) = 5cm

→ √(12)² + (5)²

→ √144 + 25

→ √169

→ 13cm

∴ Diagonal of rectangle is 13cm.
