The side of a rectangle are in ratio5.4and it's perimeter is 90cm .find its length and breadth

Let the sides be X.

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+ b)

90 = 2 ( 5x + 4x )

90 = 2( 9x )

90/2 = 9x

45=9x

45/9=x

x=5

Length = 5×5=25cm

Breadth = 4×5=20cm.
