Let ABCD be a rectangle and let the ratios be as 5y : 4y

Given -

Perimeter = 90 cm

Sides = 5y and 4y

We now that ,

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2( L + B )

➨ 90 cm = 2 ( 5y + 4y )

➨ 90 cm = 2 × 9y

➨ 90 cm = 18y

➨ y = 90/18 = 5

Now ,

Lenght = 5y = 5 × 5 = 25 cm

Breadth = 4y = 4 × 5 = 20 cm
