New length = 20 + 25% of 20

= 20 + 25/100 * 20

= 20 + 1/4 * 20

New breadth = 18.75 cm

New area = L*B

= 18.75 * 25

= 468.75cm²

Increase in area = 468.75 - 300

= 168.75 cm²

percentage increase =

(168.75 *100)/300

= 56.25%
