let length be 4x and breadth be 3x

area of rectangular field = l * b

given area = 1720 sqm

4x*3x = 1720

12 x2 = 1720

x2= 1720/12

x2=143.333

x=11.972

Length = 4*11.972

            =47.888 m

Breadth = 3*11.972

              =35.912 m

Perimeter of rectangular field= 2(l+b)

                                               = 2(47.888+35.912)m

                                               =167.608 m

Cost of fencing is Rs 20 per meter = Rs 20*167.608

                                                         =Rs 3352.16
