The side of a rectangular plot are in the ratio 5:3
The area of the plot is 960m2 Find the costof fencing (per round) the plot with barbed wire at the rate ₹3.50 per meter​

perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)

2 (5x+3x)=960

2*8x=960

we will transport 2 to opposite side. left side 2 is in multiply so when 2 will come right side it will be in divide.

8x=960/2

8x=480

x=480/8

x= 60

now length of rectangle= 5*60

= 300m

breath= 3*60

= 180m

now we will find cost of fencing

as we are going to find the cost of fencing of rectangular plot so we will use perimeter of rectangle formula= 2(l+b)

2*300+180

= 780m

fencing per m = Rs. 3.50

780*3.50 = ur answer
