HEY MATE,
GIVEN :- A RHOMBUS WITH ONE SIDE 5CM SO ALL SIDE OF RHOMBUS IS EQUAL SO AB = BC = CD = AD. AND DIAGONAL MEET AT 90 DEGREES. DIAGONAL BISECT EACH OTHER AT O.
SO, AO = 1/2 AC
AO = 8 X 1/2
AO = 4
SO FOR OD, WE USE PYTHAGORAS
SO, CD SQUARE = OA SQUARE + OD SQUARE
(OD) SQUARE = (5) SQUARE - (4) SQUARE
(OD) SQUARE = 25-16
(OD) SQUARE = 9
OD = 3 CM.
THEREFORE : AC = 8 CM
BD = 6 CM
SO AREA OF RHOMBUS = 1/2 X ( PRODUCTS OF DIAGONALS)
= 1/2 X 8 X 6
= 1/2 X 48
= 24 SQUARE CM.
I HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU...
