We know,

A rhombus is a parallelogram with 4 equal sides.

Hence, a rhombus can be a parallelogram but a parallelogram cannot be a rhombus.

So, we can use the exact same formula for finding the Area of it.

Area of Parallelogram = Area of Rhombus

= (Base × Height) Square Units

Given Data »

Base = Side = 7.2 cm

Height = Altitude = 5 cm

∴ Area of Rhombus

= (7.2 × 5) cm²

= 36 cm²

Hence, the area of rhombus is 36 cm².
