Step-by-step explanation:

Let the side of a square is X+5

It's area, A1 = (X+5) x (X+5)= X^2+ 2X + 25

Another square, the side is X and area will be A2 = X^2

Difference in area of two squares = A1-A2

= (X^2 + 2X +25) - (X^2)

=> 2X + 25 = 325 (Given)

=> 2X = 325 - 25

=> 2X = 300

=> X = 300/2

=> X = 150

Therefore, the side of smaller square is 150 cm

And the side of bigger square = X + 5 = 150 + 5 = 155 cm
