Answer:

The side of square field is 15 m

area = 15×15 = 225

after increase 4 m side

then, 15 + 4 = 19

area of square is side ×. side

19 × 19= 361

361 - 225 = 136 m square increase

Solution:-

length of side of a square = 15m

Area of square = Side²

= (15)²m²

= 225m²

When the each side of square is increased by 4 m then,

15 + 4 = 19m

New length of the side of square is 19m

Area of new square = (19)² m²

= 361m²

So,

Increase in area of square is given by,

New area of square - previous area of square

361 - 225

=> 136m²
