To find out the area of the path= Area of ABCD-Area of PQRS

AB= 60 m

PQ= AB- 2× Width of the path

= 60-20

= 40 m

Area of ABCD= (side)²

= 60²

= 3600

Area of PQRS= (side)²

= 40²

= 1600

Area of the path= Area of ABCD-Area of PQRS

= 3600-1600

= 2000
