The side of a square files is 10cm. how many tiles can be fixied on one side of a wall which is 2.5m long and 2m hight.

Area of Wall = L × h
 = 2.5 \times 2 \\  = 5 \: m {}^{2}
Side of tiles = 10 cm
= 10/100 m
= 0.1 m
Area of Square tiles = sides^2
 = (0.1) {}^{2}  \\  = 0.01 \: m {}^{2}
So The number of tiles =
 =  \frac{5}{0.01}  \\  = 500
Therefore 500 tiles are required on the wall
