The side of a square hall is 15m each. If square tiles of side 1m each has to be used to pave the floor.
The tiles come from the shop in boxes having 75 tiles in each box. How many boxes of tiles have to be
purchased to cover the floor completely?

area = 15 \times 15 \\  = 225 \:  {m}^{2}

Area of one tile

1m \times 1m \\  = 1 \:  {m}^{2}

one box contain 75 tiles so 75m^2 area is paved by one box

therefore numbers of boxes to be purchased= Area of floor ÷ Area paved by one box

i.e.

 number \: of \: boxes \:  = \frac{225}{75}  \\  = 3
