The side of a square is 10 cm. How many times will the new perimeter become if the side of the square is doubled?​

Perimeter of a square = 4 × side = 4 × 10 = 40 cm

if the side is double , 10 × 2 = 20

Perimeter of a square = 4× side = 4× 20

= 80 cm . 10 × 2 = 20 Thus , 40 × 2 = 80

Hence , if the side is doubled than the new perimeter is also doubled ....
