Given:

  • The side of a square is 2.5 cm

To Find:

  • its perimeter and area

Solution:

Perimeter of square = 4 × Side

 \longrightarrow \:  \: \rm{ (4 \times 2.5)cm}

 \space

\longrightarrow \:  \:  \rm{\red{10}\green{cm}}

Area = (side)²

\longrightarrow \:  \: \rm{ (2.5 × 2.5) sq. cm}

 \space

 \longrightarrow \:  \:  \bf{ \red{6.25  \green{ \:  \: sq. cm}}}

Therefore,

Perimeter = 10 cm

Area = 6.25 cm²
