For square_ Perimeter=4×side

Therefore,4×4=16cm

Area=(side)^2

=(4)^2

=16cm^2

FOR RECTANGLE

PERIMETER

=2(l+b)

=2(10)

=20 cm

AREA

=L×B

=8×2

=16cm^2

Perimeter \: \: of \: \: square = 4s = 16 \: cm \\ Perimeter \: \: of \: \: rectangle =2(8 + 2) = 20 \: cm

Area \: \: of \: \: square = {s}^{2} = 16 \: {cm}^{2} \\ Area \: \: of \: \: rectangle = lb = 16 \: {cm}^{2}
