Double

If the side of square is doubled then the perimeter will also be doubled.

ex:-

Side of square = 50 cm

Perimeter = 4× side

= 4 × 50 → 200 cm

and if the side is doubled

50 × 2 = 100 cm

Perimeter = 4 × 100 cm

→ 400 cm

400 is double of 200

hence, proved.
