The side of a square is 6 cm. The length of a rectangle is 10 cm
and its breadth is 4 cm. Find the perimeter and area of both the
square and rectangle.

Answer:

Area of square =s×s

6 cm × 6cm = 36cm

Perimeter of square = 4×s

4 × 6cm= 24 cm

Area of rectangle = l× b

10 cm×4cm=40cm

Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

2(10+4)= 28cm
