The side of a square is 6 cm. the length of a rectangle is 9 cm and its width is 5 cm.find the perimeter and area of both figures.​

so perimeter of the square is

4×6=24cm.

area of a square =a²

then area of the square will be

6×6=36cm².

length and breadth of the rectangle given is 9cm and 5cm

area of rectangle =l×b=9×5=45cm².

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)=2(9+5)=2(14)=28cm².
