The side of a square tile is 10 cm . How many tile can be fixed on the floor of a room of 2.5min long and 2m wide ?

Length=2.5m

Breadth=2m

Area=length*breadth

2.5*2m=500cm sq.

Tiles=100/500=5tiles

perimeter of floor 4× sides

2.5m Is long and 2m wide

= 5m. change into cm

5×100

= 500.
