Length of the wall = 2.5 m = 250 cm
Height of the wall = 2m = 200cm
Now,
Area of the wall = length * breadth
But, since it is a wall then, its breadth will be the its thickness. But, we need to calculate the area of walls face. (please refer the attachment for clear concept)
So, we will take height
So,
Area of wall = length * height
So, area = 250 * 200 = 50000 cm²

Now,
Side of the 1 tile = 10 cm
Now, area of square tiles = side² = (10)²=100cm²

Number of tiles = total area of wall ÷area of one tile
Number of tiles =
 \frac{50000 \:  {cm}^{2} }{100 \:  {cm}^{2} }  = 500 \: tiles
Therefore,
Total number of tiles is 500.

Hope this will be helping you

Answer:

500 TILES

Step-by-step explanation:

area of 1 tile = 10 x 10=100 cm²

area of floor =2.5 x  2=5 M =50000 cm²

NUMBER OF TILE REQUIRED= AREA OF FLOOR /AREA OF TILE

==> 50000/100

===>500 TILES ARE REQUIRED
