Given :-

  • The sides of a triangle are in the ratio 4:5:6.

  • If the perimeter of the triangle is 150 cm.

To Find :-

  • The sides of a triangle.

Solution :-

Let the sides of a triangle be x

According to the question,

The sides of a triangle are in the ratio 4:5:6

  • The first side = 4x

  • The second side = 5x

  • The third side = 6x

We, know the perimeter of a triangle is a + b + c.

=> 4x + 5x + 6x = 150

=> 15x = 150

=> x =  \cancel{\dfrac{150}{15}}

=> x = 10

Putting value of x,

The first side = 4x = 4 × 10 = 40

The second side = 5x = 5×10 = 50

The third side = 6x = 6× 10 = 60

Let's Verify :-

4x + 5x + 6x = 150

➝ 40 + 50 + 60 = 150

➝ 150 = 150

Answer:

Let the sides of the triangle be 4x,5x,6x, respectively. Therefore, the sides are 40 cm, 50 cm, and 60 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the sides of the triangle be 4x,5x,6x, respectively.

Perimeter of triangle =4x+5x+6x

⇒150=15x

⇒x=10

Therefore, the sides are 40 cm, 50 cm, and 60 cm.
