Given,
h = 6 cm
Let p = b = x [ isosceles triangle ]
Now,
Acc to pythogoras theorem,
h^2 = p^2 + b^2
6^2 = x^2 + x^2
36 = 2x^2
x^2 = 13
x = sqrt of 13.
Hence, the two sides are sqrt {13}

Given:A right angled isosceles triangle whose hypotenuse is 6 cm.
By Pythagoras theorem,
(Hieght)^2+(base)^2=(hypotenuse)^2
or,2(hieght)^2=(6)^2
or,(hieght)^2=36/2=18
or,hieght=root(18)
or,hieght=3root(2)
Hence,side of isosceles right triangle is 3root(2)
