We know that for rhombus,

Side=(1/2)*√(diagonal 1*diagonal 1+diagonal 2*diagonal 2)

Here, side=5 m and diagonal 1=8 m

After putting the above value on the formula we get,diagonal 2=6 m

Side = 5

Side as hypontenus and 8/2 = 4cm as one side

Use Phythagoras Theorum

4^2 + x^2 = 5^2

16 + x^2 = 25

x^2 = 25 - 16

x^2 = 9

x = 3

Square root on both sides

x=3

3*2 = 6

Therefore the length of other diagonal = 6cm
