Given : The sides containing the right angle of a right angled triangle are 12 cm and 16 cm respectively.

We know Pythagoras theorem :

Hypotenuse2 =  Adjacent2 + Opposite2  , Substitute given values we get

Hypotenuse2 = 122 + 162  ,

Hypotenuse2 = 144 + 256 ,

Hypotenuse2 = 400 ,

Hypotenuse2 = 202 ,

Hypotenuse = 20 cm

We know " If circumcircle is on right angle triangle then  the hypotenuse is a diameter of the circumcircle, and its center is exactly at the midpoint of the hypotenuse. "

So,

Radius of given circumcircle  =  202 = 10 cm
