:let the sides be =5x,7x,8x

perimeter of triangle =

5x + 7x + 8x =400 m

12x + 8x = 400

20x = 400

x =400/20

 = 20

1st side = 5x = 5 * 20 =100

2nd side = 7x = 7 * 20 = 140

2rd side = 8x = 8 * 20 = 160

The three sides of triangle are 100,140,160
