perimeter of ∆ = Sum of all side

so,

◆ x+(x+3)+(x+5)=29

= 3x+8=29

=3x=29-8

=. x=7

sides of ∆=

side 1. 7

side 2. 7+3=10

side 3. 7+5=12

The smallest side of ∆ is 7 cm.
