the sides is 28cm and radius of each circle is half of the length of the sides of the square where O and O' are centres of the circles. find the area of shaded region.

area of the square = 28*28= 784 cm square
radius= 28/2 = 14cm
area of 2 circles= 2* 22/7*14*14 = 1232 cm square


Area of shaded portion = 784+1232 = 2016cm square
