The number of possible values for the fourth side are 179.

Step-by-step explanation:

Property of quadrilaterals all sides of quadrilateral is less than sum of all other sides

  • Given sides are of length  30, 80, 90
  • Let's say the maximum length  = 30+80+90 -1 = 199
  • Let minimum be x

90 = 80+ 30 +x

x = 110 - 90

x = 20

x = 21 ( as it's < not equal to sum of all other sides)

From 21 to 199 integer can be

199 - 20 = 179
