let each side of quadrilateral be'x'

given ratio 3:4:5:6

perimeter is 72

perimeter is the sum of all side of quadrilateral

By given ratio the sides are 3X,4X,5X,6X

Perimeter:3X+4X+5X+6X=72

•18X=72

•X=72÷18

X=4

therefore the greatest side is 6X,we know that X=4

therefore greatest side =6×4=24
