So, Here, The diagonal becomes the hypotenuse of the Right angled triangle formed.
So, By Pythagoras...
• (Diagonal)² = (Length)² + (Breadth)²
• (Diagonal)² = (16)² + (12)²
• (Diagonal)² = 256 + 144
• (Diagonal)² = 400
• (Diagonal) = √400
• Diagonal = 20cm
