Here is the Solution..

So.

Length = 16 m

Breadth = 12 m

Diagonals of a rectangle forms two right angled triangles.

So, Here, The diagonal becomes the hypotenuse of the Right angled triangle formed.

So, By Pythagoras...

(Diagonal)² = (Length)² + (Breadth)²

(Diagonal)² = (16)² + (12)²

(Diagonal)² = 256 + 144

(Diagonal)² = 400

(Diagonal) = 400

Diagonal = 20cm

So the Answer.is

______Diagonal = 20cm_______
